In every business it is important to know who your competitors are; it is just as true in web-based business. By researching your industry, we discover who your greatest competitors are, what style of web design are they using and what distinguishes you from them. As always, what works for them should work for anyone, but we also like to take things to the next level.
This is where we look at the content (images, text and other materials) that you provide. This way we can determine what the layout of your website will be and how many pages you will need. We appreciate your input throughout the entire project, however is most important at this stage. Together we will discuss colors, fonts and visual stimulation (images, graphics, animation, logos and icons). A digital layout will be made for your approval before continuing to the next step.
Creation begins. Once we know what the layout will be, we can create the chosen graphics to compliment the structure. You will be presented with a model of your home page for you to inspect. After your approval, we will continue to design the rest of the pages. You will be able to watch the progress by visiting our testing server. This will make it easier to give feedback and suggestions along the way.
After the content is prepared, it is assembled with web programming, often referred to as coding. We pride ourselves on clean coding, META tags and ALT tags to ensure Search Engine rating compatibility. As the code is written we also test the site for quality. We test the pages for load time, correct content, and check the links for validity and functionality. When this process is completed, we test it again for proper link and animation function. It is then prepared for your final approval.
The moment you’ve been waiting for. When you have approved the finished website, we transfer your new website from our testing server to your production server (we will provide you with one at a reasonable rate) and you’re in business.
